Ramsey was the Deputy Solicitor in the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Department of the Interior where she was the principal advisor to the Solicitor for all water resources law issues. She’s handled the West’s biggest challenges, working on policy and litigation on everything from Indian water rights and reclamation law to Colorado River negotiations and drought contingency plans.
She joins Somach shareholder Michael Gheleta, former Acting Assistant Solicitor, Water & Power, for the U.S. Department of the Interior, to serve clients in the Denver metro area and throughout the West.
Combined with our renowned California water law team, our Rocky Mountain West office is finding new and effective ways of solving the water issues that will impact the Western United States for years to come.
